The measurement of suspended solids (SS) using an integrating sphere scattering photometry method is a direct approach that does not require the filtration, heating, and weighing operations needed in the weight method (JIS method). SS and turbidity can be measured with a single device. There is no need for complicated operations, and it allows for a wide range of SS measurements (with 2 range switches). Since it uses an integrating sphere method, it is not affected by the color of the sample. The amount of sample required for measurement is minimal. It is easy to operate and compact. It is compatible with both AC and DC, and comes with a charger with an AC adapter. It includes a portable case for convenient transport.
